The Media and Elected Officials Won't Acknowledge Basic Health Practices

LAST BLOG POST OF 2021!! LET'S GO Y'ALL!!

The White House recently shared this press release with an ominous message to those who haven't gotten vaccinated against Covid-19. See highlighted area. The "most compassionate and unifying administration" has issued this statement against unvaccinated Americans. This raises the question of why aren't you hearing of other medicinal practices to stay healthy. All you hear from these people are how you need to get vaccinated. How you need the booster. How you need to keep 6 feet apart. How you need to mask up. Nobody is bringing up traditional methods of staying healthy or preventing sickness.

Before I continue, let me reiterate my disclaimer that I am not a medical professional.

I've spoken on Ivermectin and its benefits. Everyone who I know used Ivermectin, or even Hydroxychloroquine, have testified their recovery was quick. The drugs clearly work, and numerous doctors have shared the success of Ivermectin, yet the drug is still mocked as "horse paste." Me discussing Ivermectin as a medicinal approach isn't the forefront of this article. What I wanted to focus on are simple, but effective, medical practices that I have not seen many in the current administration, Republicans, or the media discuss.

What are some basic health practices?
  • Getting a good night's rest: In one study shared by the US National Library of Medicine, the authors shared how proper sleep impacts your body's response to sicknesses. When you are sleep deprived, you naturally become more irritable and stressed. This creates immunodeficiency, which can cause major problems. Additionally, poor sleep can cause "a manifest immunodeficiency characterized by an enhanced susceptibility to infections and a reduced immune response."
  • Eating a proper diet: Having a healthy gut can have major impacts on your body's ability to fight infections or diseases. The gut and your immune system have a direct correlation to one another. The bacteria found in your gut has been proven to have significant impact on the rest of the body's abilities. The good bacteria in your gut communicates with your T-cells, which learn to destroy certain viruses and infections found in your body, to fight off infections. Gilbert Lab shares, "When these two are in good relations, the body is equipped to respond to pathogens and to tolerate harmless bacteria, preventing an autoimmune response and ensuring overall well-being." If your gut isn't healthy, such as having a poor diet (i.e. always eating junk food), your gut and immune system won't have that communication to fight off diseases. Eating a proper portion of fruits, vegetables, nuts/seeds, lean meats, or fish will promote a healthy digestive system and healthy gut, which will also promote a healthy immune system.
  • Taking vitamins: We've known of taking Vitamin C (at least) since childhood. Have you heard many medical professionals or anyone in the White House mention this? What about the effects Quercetin and Bromelain have on fighting Covid? As mentioned in one of my articles, one study showed that patients with Covid-19 taking Quercetin, Bromelain, and Zinc were less likely to develop hyper-inflammation and cytokine storm. Zinc has a major impact on your immune system. Vitamin C (as well as Magnesium) has a big impact on opening airways. Vitamin D "plays an important role in the formation and maintenance of epithelial and endothelial barriers, including lung tissue," said Frontiers in Nutrition. What did Fauci and the WHO tell us to do when Covid broke out? "Stay home and save lives." One of the main sources of Vitamin D is sunlight. This could potentially have a correlation to the number of deaths who had a deficiency of this particular vitamin.
  • Exercise: Again, this is an obvious one. Exercise has numerous benefits, but I am focusing on the one for your health and immune system. It can help with a plethora of health concerns, as well as help you fall asleep quicker. As I mentioned earlier, the importance of good sleep in having a healthy immune system is beneficial, so exercise is another important practice.
  • Staying hydrated: Drinking plenty of water is a major practice that many fall flat on. To have a healthy immune system, you must stay hydrated. Our body is 70% water, and that water carries nutrients to help assist different organs. If our body doesn't have proper hydration, it can't carry these necessary nutrients throughout the body. Not to mention when you are properly hydrated, this also contributes to a healthy digestive system. Remember what I said about your gut? See how these practices all tie into one another?
All of these practices are proven to make an impact on your health. Because of my gut issues, I have been eating right and exercising. I made a post on my Instagram story talking about all the bad things in bread, compared to eating something as simple as roti. Roti only has 4 ingredients: flour, olive oil, baking soda, and water. I'd have to make a whole list of ingredients and preservatives bread has. The importance of living a healthy lifestyle is something we should all strive for.

Why won't the media or 90% of our elected officials focus on these practices? You just hear them shove the vaccine down our throats, with no regard to these easy practices. Why are these so called leaders not telling Americans about these practices?

Again, I am not a medical professional, but based on the research I have done, there is reason to believe the practices should be discussed more. I'm just fed up with this rhetoric. You hear Republicans like Sean Hannity, Ted Cruz, or even Donald Trump tell you "Please get vaccinated or get the booster to return to normalcy." Why won't any of them discuss what I have shared? We know big pharma won't. Vaccines make them money. Healthy practices and over-the-counter drugs don't line their pockets.

I know I included many studies and articles, but I implore you to read them. Don't believe what I said just because I said it. I learned so much in reading these articles, and that's why I included them. People should know these things. Even Joe Rogan has blasted Biden and his administration for NEVER discussing basic health practices!!
