What I'm Thankful For (2021)

This year has certainly been a crazy one. Hard to believe 2021 is almost done. Christmas will be here, then the new year!! In the meantime, I thought I could share my list of what I am grateful for this year. In all the craziness of this year, it's hard to look back at what you could be grateful for. I think we should all have an attitude of gratitude. If you take some time, you'll find a few things you can be thankful for. Here is my list of things I am grateful for in 2021.

What am I thankful for this year? First off, I'd say I am grateful for my family and friends, who have supported and loved me all this time. I've got some amazing people in my life, and I often think I am lucky to have such people in my life. I'm also grateful for the people I've met through my journey with politics.

I'm grateful for what God has done for me. He has opened doors for me, and given me great health and an awesome life. He has given me a voice to use for those who don't have a voice. He has blessed my family and I with great things, like our farm. Thankful to serve a great God.

Next, I'm grateful for my Governor. DeSantis, as many of you know, is someone I have great respect for. All he has done to protect Floridians truly shows what it means to be a politician. He hasn't caved into the woke mobs in Florida or in D.C. He has been treated like crap, yet continues to fight for all Floridians. I can't wait to get involved in his reelection campaign.

The next thing I'm grateful for is my animals. As many of you know, I've got many pets. The two main ones being dogs and goats. I love my fur babies, and love the time I spend with them! I'm also grateful that our pet goats, Little Horn and Black Beauty, survived after we learned the woman who sold us them lied about their age. We're lucky they lived, and now I've become attached to them. Pippin was our first baby we had. His momma was pregnant when we first got her.

What else am I grateful for? I'm grateful for all the organizations I work with. The College Fix is a great organization I write for, and it has helped me become a better writer. I'm grateful for the opportunities granted to me there. What I'm even more grateful for are the anti-trafficking groups I work with. Stop The Demand Project and Fight The New Drug are two places I'm proud to support and contribute to. The people with these organizations make me proud to be an anti-trafficking advocate. We are bringing awareness to issues that don't get much coverage.

I've enjoyed writing the articles for SDP, like my most recent about how porn fuels sex trafficking, or even celebrating Fight The New Drug's #RepTheMovement Day, and sharing why I am a fighter. I appreciate seeing these organizations make an impact on the lives of so many.

I'm also grateful for the people I have spoken with in the anti-trafficking movement who work hard to bring awareness to human trafficking. Jaco Booyens, Sophia Fisher, Paris Berelc (haven't spoken to her but I do respect her), Joshua Broome, to name a few. These men and women have inspired my work, and I'm grateful to know them.

Lastly, I'm grateful to you, the readers! You guys have made me what I am today. When I started my blog over two years ago, I never thought it would grow to where it is now. It wouldn't have been possible if not for you guys, and I'm grateful to each and every one of you.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving, and here's to hoping none of you have any relatives who bring up politics at the dinner table. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

What I Am Grateful For

Happy Thanksgiving! I know this isn’t the "Epstein didn’t commit suicide" post that I was supposed to do, but I thought since today is Thanksgiving, I could do a post on that. Don’t worry, I will publish the post about Epstein next week. I wanted to do this post too. In today's climate, it's hard to think of what you are grateful for. Everything in the news is so negative, so what is there to be grateful for? I’ll tell you. We have so much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving. This post will be about the top 5 things I am grateful for this year.
  1. I’m grateful for my family. As usual, my family are so supportive of me. My parents are always willing to drive me places I need to be, or go with me anywhere I need them to. This is hard on them. My mom always is my chauffeur, and my dad will pay for anything that he knows would make me happy. My sister, as much as we argue, will always do anything for me. When I was laid up from my wisdom teeth surgery for over a week, she took care of mainly everything for me. My brother is special to me because of obvious reasons. He’s my little buddy, and the most important thing in my life. I’m also grateful to my mom’s parents, who do anything I may ask for. I’m grateful to my whole family who were very understanding after my wisdom teeth surgery.
  2. I’m grateful for all the friends I’ve made. As many of you know, I decided to get more involved in politics. I’m involved with my TPUSA chapter at UF, the College Republicans, and the Trump Victory Campaign. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many people, as well as call them my friends. Some have even helped me by giving me advice on improving my blog. They all love and share my blog. I've met some wonderful people this semester, and I can't wait to collaborate with them, and meet others like them! I'm also grateful for the opportunities I've had this year through my interactions with these new friends I've made, like meeting Donald Trump Jr., Dennis Baxley, Graham Allen (again!), and more.
  3. I’m grateful for this country and my POTUS. Yeah, I know. I went making this all political. But it’s the truth. We have so many luxuries as a country that others can only dream of. Our freedoms are precious and God given rights. Certain people are unfaithful to the U.S., and its people. That’s why I’m also grateful to have a President who takes being continuously bashed by the media,  and still help Americans. While the impeachment hearings were happening with the Do-Nothing-Democrats, Donald Trump and his wife were visiting Delaware, where a pilot was being put to rest. Even though he is being dragged through the trenches because the Left hates anything that improves Americans’ lives, he is still placing Americans as number one. How do you guys like Donald Trump tweeting the picture of himself with Rocky's body and the fake news falling for his trap? Tweet of the year. That's my President!
  4. I’m grateful to those who protect our country. I’ve written about this before, but our troops and police do so much for our country, and get little in return for these services. Suicide is running rampant in veterans and police officers. That’s why I wrote my articles regarding appreciating our armed forces and respecting the police. They deserve to be reminded how precious their service is.
  5. I am grateful to my readers. Yes you! I never would have imagined my blog would grow so high in a few months. And it’s all thanks to those of you who read my blog. I can’t tell you how much this means. I remember being depressed when I would only hit 20-30 views a week, but now I can hit 50-200+. My top three most popular posts have over 200 views. That’s amazing! Thank you to everyone who reads my blog. And a special thank you to those who share my blog on social media. That helps a lot! You don’t know what it means to me. Thank you!!
That’s my list of what I am grateful for this year. God has blessed me this year with so much this year, and I thank Him for that. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving this year, and even though I am still unable to properly eat from my wisdom teeth surgery (I’ve lost like 7 pounds), I will do my best to eat.
