My Opinion on George Floyd and The Riots

Everyone knows what happened to George Floyd. Let me start off by saying what happened is an egregious wrong. He didn't resist arrest. And shame on conservatives who imply he deserved to die for past crimes. Floyd was guilty of forgery, aka a non-violent crime. Derek Chauvin has been arrested and was found guilty of third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. That's too easy on him. I'm also not buying the "underlying health issues." Saying George’s underlying health issues caused his death is like poisoning someone and blaming their death on that person's diabetes. In the infamous video, you hear "I can't breathe." Despite your skin color or political ideologies, everyone felt like they couldn't breathe. Every American agrees this was wrong.

IF YOU THINK THIS IS OK; AND THIS ISN'T; YOU ARE THE PROBLEM | image tagged in riots minneapolis, riots, covid 19,coronavirus,george floyd | made w/ Imgflip meme makerMy issue is with the rioters. Not the peaceful protests, where people are chanting "We can't breathe" or standing in a line holding signs. They're practicing their 1st Amendment right. I mean the thugs who are destroying Floyd's community by burning property and attacking innocent people. Everyone screamed racism when Trump called Antifa and the other rioters "thugs." A thug is "violent bad guy." Bad guys don't have a specific race. The Democrats were the racists for assuming Trump meant black people in calling the rioters thugs. Weren't Democrats the same people who said we MUST maintain the CDC's rules for Covid-19? That conservatives were evil for wanting to leave their house during Covid. That changes with situations like this. Parents were arrested for going to peacefully play at the park, yet no one has been arrested for taking their kids to riots. I saw a heartbreaking video of a child at a protest who was hit with mace. Just awful. Or how Antifa burned down a house with a child inside, and blocking firefighters from getting in? I'm also confused how the Left conflate the Tea Party (poured tea in the ocean) and today's riots (burning businesses/attacking people).

Two sides of the same coin. | BOTH USE VIOLENCE TO SPREAD THEIR MESSAGE; BOTH CREATED BY DEMOCRATS | image tagged in antifa declared terrorist group | made w/ Imgflip meme makerDemocrats in MSM, in office, and in Hollywood show their distaste for working-class Americans by advocating for the endless violence, by supporting the defunding of police, or by donating money for rioters’ bail rather than the small businesses burned down. Conservatives are the one who donate and create fundraisers for Americans affected by rioters (obviously). Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison posed with the Antifa handbook, hates police and openly advocates for Antifa. Ilhan Omar, her daughter and the Squad are encouraging these riots. Amy Klobuchar didn't prosecute Chauvin after he fatally shot a 42-year-old after he pulled out a shotgun in 2006. Unless the guy shot first, Chauvin was in the wrong. There were multiple complaints towards Chauvin that never got resolved. This isn't about George Floyd anymore. If that was the case, why burn down/loot businesses, or attack innocent citizens? People's livelihood has been destroyed. These Leftists make me sick with their selfishness and ignorance of working class Americans, but they clearly sold their souls for fame and fortune. KB Balla, firefighter in Minnesota, opened his own bar with his hard-earned money, living out the American dream. Because of Covid-19, Balla really suffered. When he's able to reopen, out-of-state protesters rob and burn his bar down. There are multiple stories like this, all equally heartbreaking.

The rioters from Antifa and BLM are paid actors from none other than Soros. I've read stories where friends of police officers say the rioters are paid actors from Soros, and are from different states. It always comes back to Soros or Gates. Let's not forget Soros funded Ferguson! He also donated millions to Democratic groups and politicians. There's something fishy about these riots, which you probably knew. Bricks are at the locations these riots are occurring at, yet no rioter brings the bricks themselves. If this was about black lives, why steal Louis Vitton handbags or loot businesses? Did anyone else notice the riots are mainly in Leftist-run cities and states? If you really think this is all coincidence, you're sadly mistaken. It isn't a mistake that these riots are happening, and it isn't a mistake it's happening in Democratic cities/states. I hope voters wake up to what happens when you vote for Democrats, because they are not for American people. I know many who are under curfew and afraid to go out. I also hope this teaches people the importance of the 2nd Amendment.

This was never about justice for George Floyd or equality. The Left wants America to crumble. Why else aren’t MSM covering how black men protected a white cop who got separated from his squad? How protesters are lining up to protect businesses? How cops are supporting and protecting the protesters' 1st Amendment right, and communicating with the people protesting? Innocent men and women beaten like animals? The acts of people cleaning up defaced property? Where's lamestream media or Hollywood on this? Where's the outrage when African Americans kill members of their own race, or how African American babies are five times more likely to be aborted than Caucasian babies? Or the outrage of a
black Federal officer murdered in the Oakland riots, other cops killed, or how police officer David Dorn was shot? That livestream made me want to cry. So inhumane. CNN was surprised their headquarters were attacked. What do you expect when you push for violence 24/7? I'd never condone violence against someone I disagree politically with.

Are some cops bad? Of course. Even with the peaceful protests, many officers are seen mishandling them. Are all cops bad? No! Leftists used the tragedy of George Floyd's death to cause destruction. Floyd's family even said that he wouldn't approve of the violence and destruction occurring now. If you're complaining about cops, then call Antifa when you need the police instead! I’m happy Trump called Antifa what they are: a terrorist organization. His responses about Floyd have been spot on. And it took long enough that the other cops involved got arrested! They're equally guilty. It's terrible and evil what happened to George Floyd, but these riots are equally terrible and evil. Rest in peace, George Floyd. We'll never forget you. To anyone in the states where riots/curfews are happening, please stay safe.

Taking Unnecessary Classes in School

Anyone who went to college probably had to take classes that were irrelevant to their degree or career path. This seems like a minor inconvenience, but there's more to this. Taking unnecessary classes, specifically general education courses, doesn't help college students, but holds them back. The same goes for high school. One student may flourish in U.S. history, another excels in mathematics, and a different student thrives in writing. Most students know their career paths, but taking unnecessary classes makes it that much harder for them to succeed. Taking gen ed, or any unnecessary courses, doesn't help students.

Most pointless classes are usually Leftist run. My sister has completed her first semester in college. One class she had to take is "What is a good life?" UF requires all freshmen to take this. Either you take this course, or you can take a “Quest course,” which fulfills the requirement. There are multiple quest courses, like Lying and Deception, Fairytales, Idea of Happiness (which my sister took), etc. Her class was very Leftist run. None of what was taught in class had ANYTHING to do with Accounting (her major), yet she was required to take this class. These Leftist professors are shoving their biases down freshmen’s throats, which leads to more Leftists. Another issue is how these classes can drop students’ GPA. If a student is looking to go to medical school, that may not happen because they got a B+ in a stupid, but difficult class. These classes 1) cause a student’s GPA to unnecessarily drop (compared to when you’re in a class like Business Finance), which 2) can hold students back. Taking unnecessary classes hurts academic success.

Because these classes have nothing to do with your career path, ultimately, its money being wasted. What skills do you gain from knowing what is a good life? It’s also a waste of time and resources. Instead of those first two years being wasted on useless classes, why not have relevant classes or a work experience program. Students would be able to either get experience or get knowledge to help them. Why do colleges teach skills already taught in high school? Students don’t need reminders; they need to⁸ be taught information related to their major. College is expensive. In Florida, college costs a little over $6,000 per year, so by the end of two years, a student will owe $12,000+, and the money used here will be wasted on courses that are irrelevant to a student’s major. As previously stated, why not allow students to find courses that are tailored to their career choices?

I was inspired by Mahgdalen Rose’s video, where she focused on how high schools limit students’ capabilities by making them take courses they don’t need. It falls in line with what I am discussing. Who uses the Pythagorean Theorem in their everyday life? Who dissects animals on a daily basis (unless you’re Jeffery Dahmer)? I would assume few do. Why don’t high schools let students take courses that relate to their field of study? In the video, she explains how she excelled in writing and history, but fell short in math and science. One in the same for me. Instead of making students take all these classes, they should have the freedom of choosing their desired classes. Dual enrollment helped me realize what I wanted to do scholastically, not high school.

Something I want to emphasize on is why student debt is so high. Colleges charge a ton of money; students waste their money taking these classes! Bernie Sanders, Ilhan Omar, and Elizabeth Warren constantly complain how student debt should be cancelled, but did it occur to them that a reason is because students’ money is wasted on these classes? If they really wanted to help student debt, they would encourage colleges to get rid of gen ed classes that don’t help students in their degree. A college student will have thousands owed by the time they’re done with only the first two years in college, and they’ll still have another two years they have to pay thousands. Why not make it so students can save money and not go into debt by removing these classes? Or that students take gen ed courses aimed towards their degree? Excellent solutions!

Colleges are a money-making business. “These classes will help students discover what they want to do,” they say. Colleges have students take these courses so they can get money, while students pay hundreds for this. If colleges were concerned about students’ education, they wouldn’t have them take these classes, and let them focus on their major specifically, like I said? If a student is a business major, why make them take science courses? Colleges just want the money, so they push for 4-year degrees. That’s a major problem schools have, but considering they’re mainly Leftist, it’s really not shocking they only care about making money. That’s why the solution I provided isn’t considered in discussing debt.

Students shouldn’t have to take unnecessary classes. And it's not just colleges doing this, its middle and high school: one middle school textbook has their students learning kinky and provocative sex. It just causes them to lose money, time and resources. Where they could be getting knowledge for their careers, they’re wasting time in these pointless classes. Student debt is so high largely because students have to waste money in these classes. If any politician really wants to solve the crisis, they would consider all of what I said, and have colleges remove these classes from a student’s degree audit. Instead of holding students back, let them focus on what matters: classes that will provide knowledge and skills for the field they are studying.

What do you think of these types of classes? Are they unnecessary? Comment what you think!

Bad news: Trump was impeached by the House. Read this: https://youngpatriotrising.blogspot.com/2019/12/impeachment-hoax.html. Don't worry. It's very upsetting, but it's in God's hands!
Good news: I finished this semester with a 3.5 GPA! A in Family Communication, B+ in International Business & Sales Management!

NEVER FORGET

We all remember where we were that fateful day. The day the planes crashed and collapsed the Twin Towers in New York City. The day the Pentagon exploded. The day the final plane crashed into that field. We all remember that day. Even though I was a child when this occurred, I was affected by it. You know what day I'm talking about: September 11th, 2001. The day America will never forget. First responders lost their lives protecting and rescuing others. Innocent men, women and children died. This attack was the single largest loss of American life on American soil. The one event that brings Americans closer together, regardless political affiliation, is this day. Out of any day celebrated, we remember this day above the others. Why? Because we as a country were affected. The entire world was affected. Remembering the attacks of this day isn't just to remember the victims, although that was the main reason to remember. We remember the attack on the free nation, the United States of America.

I wasn't originally going to do this post (really last minute thing), but I could feel my heart pulling for my to discuss this. Everyone remembers where they were. You may have been at work, you may have been home with your children. Either way, you know EXACTLY where you were. My mother said she remembers when her father called her in Brooklyn to say the towers were hit. She watched on the news as it collapsed. She said she couldn't do anything after that. This is such a heartbreaking day. Remembering the victims who lost their lives is hard to think. I have seen videos of men and women who called their loved ones to say how much they loved them and their final goodbyes. I almost cried watching them today. One story I remember hearing was of a man who was wearing a red bandanna. He heroically and selfishly ran up and down the stairs to save his fellow Americans, and tragically lost his life. He was one of the responders who lost their life saving others. On America's Got Talent, an artist on the show did a beautiful, moving tribute to the first responders at 9/11. Please watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irkm4j-aP-E

When Ilhan Omar said, "Some people did something," in regard to 9/11, this was so insensitive and disgusting. Because she has to be "politically correct" about her own religion, this bugs me (and others) to no end. How dare you call the largest loss of American life as some people did something? Call it for what it is: Islamic terrorists murdered innocent lives. Not surprising she says this about 9/11, and still cannot denounce terrorist groups. She even tweeted today about 9/11, the horrors of it, and how we cannot forget the victims who lost their lives. She's right! We cannot forget 9/11, but we cannot forget what she described 9/11 as. She was not there that day. Those who were (first responders and victims) saw innocent lives die. I'm leaving the link for a video from TPUSA from first responders who lost comrades, who saw people jump out of the towers and kill themselves. These politicians who defend Omar's statement is insulting the victims, and those who protect us. The Left are so anti-America, they would rather blame anything else BUT the terrorists. Look at the New York Times. Had to delete their tweet after blaming, get this, AIRPLANES for the attacks. I'm going to use the same analogy as I did with gun control: A GUN CANNOT SHOOT WITHOUT SOMEONE BEHIND THE TRIGGER. And guess what? Same with an airplane! The Left know they cannot try to blame anyone else for what happened 9/11 because there is no other way to! Only as Islamic terrorists hijacked 4 planes, destroyed buildings, and ended innocent lives. The Left will change history to fit their narrative. Too bad America isn't putting up with it!

9/11 is a horrific day that we shouldn't have to remember, but because of these terrorists, we do. The victims who lost their lives never thought this was going to happen, and it's a horrific day to remember. Watch this emotional video of some of the passengers' last moments, I almost cried watching it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEogeIIOJzU We all know where we were that day. After the debris cleared, my entire family's asthma increased. We all began to suffer with it heavily. This is just one of the effects of this day. So many firemen/first responders died from lung cancer from the debris and smoke. This is a day that will live in infamy for Americans. For the entire world! This wasn't an attack only on Americans, this was an attack on the free world. If politicians choose to protect Muslims who sugarcoat 9/11, you spit on the graves of those who died. Their sacrifice was for nothing. As much as I dislike him, George W. Bush on the grounds of 9/11 was beautiful. "I can hear you." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7OCgMPX2mE That spoke so many volumes. How Rudy Giuliani handled this situation was incredible. America grew close as a nation. Not because of political affiliation, but because everyone felt this day. This day did not tear America apart, but bring us closer together. If I'm honest, I was very emotional writing this post. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. To the first responders, military, and others who fought for America, thank you. To those who lost their lives, we won't forget you. To the victims' families, my condolences to you all. On this day, 18 years later, we still haven't forgotten. We always remember. NEVER FORGET 9/11.
